To begin with, my spiritual experiences began in childhood when like most, I was 'thought' to have an "imaginary friend" but little did those people who thought that know that the ones I communicated with at that time and still do over half a century later, was that they were as real to me as the people are that you touch shoulders with in the street or among your family and friends. I had no friends and maybe the fact that I spent most of my time with the Spirit world and not with my feet on the ground 
though I'll never admit to having my head in the clouds, was the reason why and maybe still is, for the friends I have are mostly my guiding lights in the Spirit realms; few are they that I actually connect with in the flesh and only then infrequently. Not that I'm saying I'm the only one to have connected with Spirit as a child - for a many now have the confidence to 'come out' and admit that they too were gifted with spiritual and psychic abilities from their first memories. No what I'm saying is that I am a 110 % adherent to the spiritual cause and always will be; if the hand of friendship I extend to others is taken they are assured of someone who will be there for them as long as humanly possible. 
for reading my blog - as lengthy as it is - I know from the heart that there are those out there for whom it is written - strangers that are yet to be my friends. Mystically yours Stu nr Nottingham.... May love and light reach out to all who read my words.

Thank you for posting such an interesting blog. I too had a imaginary friends when i was a child, as well as hearing voices in my head as young as 5 years old...
Its unfortunate to say though that those imaginary friends and voices were quickly got rid of for me, as i was punished as a child for mentioning such experiences. Of course this is going back to the 60's, and i guess people are more enlightened these days. More so than in my humble working class background back then.
