Hey that does make a lot of sense! It sounds like Shapeshifting to me.....which I don't know a Lot about other than it seems one meditates and goes into a trance and can project themselves into animal form.

As for dreams it you will find yourself on a different plane while astral travelling, the dream will be as tho you are really there sometimes it can be in full color where you can feel yourself participating other times it can be in black and white where you are watching yourself in the dream. It is pretty cool~! For me it happens spontaneously because I cannot Meditate lol. I have a method I use before sleep to help me to have dreams which works quite well most of the time depending on crazy life is at the time sometimes you just cannot quiet your brain enough to attain a good dreamstate. I do know there are people that are expereinced in methods to help them astral travel which can be quite involved and difficult to achieve depending on the person.

Here is the link to that Dream Method: http://www.spiritcha...in-your-dreams/

Usually the more bizaar and weird your dreams are the more you are expected to recall and interpret what they are actually showing you, this would be your guide showing you something in your dream.

As for the Mice......who knew the mouse could be so deep......lol/here is the attributes for the mouse if you look at these you may be able to relate them to things happening in your life now or things you will need to work on soon:
  • Examines life's lessons
  • Shyness
  • Quietness
  • Understanding details
  • Seeing double meanings in things
  • Invisibility
  • Stealth
  • Guidance in signing contracts
  • Discovery
  • Ability to be unseen

They really are Busy Little Critters eh? lol

Greetings all. Call me Hollawitta which means hunter in the language of my people. I am of the Shawnee, an Algonquian tribe whose wandering bands once called parts of what is now called Ohio, Indiana, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Tennessee, South Carolina and Virginia home before being removed across the Mississippi River and finally to agency lands in what is now Oklahoma.

Actually the term ‘totem’ was derived from the Algonquian word - Ototema or sometimes Nto’tem, or Odoodem which means kin or sibling. In many Algonquian dialects it refers to a particular animal or supernatural being/creature associated with a tribe, clan, or band. This Ototema is often thought as a an ancestor. Most often an ally and protector.

These Algonquian Ototemas go far back to the tribe’s, clan’s or band’s origins. Totems cannot be chosen randomly or by an individual’s affection or admiration of a particular animal. Information regarding Ototemas is much less guarded than personal spirit helpers or guardian spirits and are often displayed in art.

The term Totemism is used by ethnographers and anthropologists to describe similar beliefs shared by primitive tribes all over the world.

There’s nothing really preventing people from choosing what they believe to be totem and spirit animals, but there are some who do so in ignorance of the tribal cultures associated with such.

Thanks SaraSeeker.

A short and sweet list. I guess we geese waddle along our soul paths, getting there one waddle at a time. (Other geese don't have to agree with me on this.)

You have to admit geese are beautiful when they fly, their honks as they fly home at sunset usually reassure me that the day is ending in a good way.

Yes short and sweet Granni!! But .......Movement along one's soul path.......this one line I think probably involves pretty much all of the other attributes that are listed for the other animals. I also think that it means you are a 'highly involved soul"..... a VIP even!

lol I think the other geese are with you 100% They always stick togeather!

We are in their migratory path, so it is amazing when they come in spring (Which is late this year but I have heard a few) and leave in the fall by the thousands, for a few weeks we see flocks in their V's going over our house one group after the other. It is especially cool to see 3 or 4 groups as they merge into one. And for God Sakes this should be soon, way past due here for a real spring, I still have 6 feet of snow in my yard......geez I think the Geese are hanging out somewhere until the ponds and lakes actually melt for them!

Well Dear Treesong.......here is your Deer.....Dear: lol sorry

I think that the "Deer my Dear" fits you to a T!! and would compliment the attributes of the ....feline so you can have both!!

Deer/Hart's Wisdom Includes:
  • Gentleness in word, thought and touch
  • Ability to listen
  • Grace and appreciation for the beauty of balance
  • Understanding of what's necessary for survival
  • Power of gratitude and giving
  • Ability to sacrifice for the higher good
  • Connection to the woodland goddess
  • Alternative paths to a goal

Ahhh, a little questionnaire to determine one's totem animal.

That's exactly how we've been doing it since the days of our earliest ancestors.  :D
