Based on the true story of a talented skier whose dreams of competing in the Olympics are shattered after a car accident. Although physically scarred, her strength of spirit won't be diminished.
was a good film.
here's another that sounds good:-
Act of God
True Stories presents Jennifer Baichwal's intriguing film which looks at the metaphysical effects of being struck by lightning

oh great, they never actually aired it according to this http://www.channel4....ies-1/episode-1 what a shame, it sounded really interesting as well. They want to make their mind up whether it's a film or a documentary too, a documentry i would have thought.

So anyway, I went for a drive and saw Sherlock Holmes with Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law.
I thought it was a pretty good film....then I went and saw Avatar 3D for the second time. Can you tell I wasn't in a hurry to go home!
The 3D effect in Avatar is definitely AWESOME!!! None of the red and green glasses and colours like the old films.
Very well done, I can see why it has gotten rave reviews.

They give you a pair a glasses when you buy your ticket at the cinema.
They are much better than the cardboard old style ones too, they just look like a cheap pair of black plastic sunglasses!
It is hard to watch without the glasses, you might have to raid the cinemas Wingman...
I don't think I have seen "Terms of Endearment"......it looks like a good one.
I have seen Kevin Cosner in "Dragonfly" though.
I loved that movie.......awesome....I highly recommend it too.
Haven't seen Dorian Gray yet.....look forward to it though.
