it's funny you know, i actually have a book here right next to me, i've read 4 chapters already today 'it's called 'Spirit Messenger' Gordon Smith i was talking to Guilly a few days ago when our tickets turned up i think it was, so could have been last week LOL, anyway I said to her, I'd first heard of Gordon Smith because im pretty sure mum has a book of his somewhere and she said she wasn't really sure about that to be honest. i said 'im sure she has'. Anyway, months ago i asked where mums spirit book collection was as in their old home she used to have them all on a bookshelve in their front room.

She told me "believe it or not, they are on a shelf behind the fridge! " , and they had been put there the day they moved in on a window ledge that the window had been borded up/bricked up and they had put their big american fridge freezer in front of it. i said "you're books will get ruined there and it's a shame because i would have liked to look through them" and mum said "i know, "i keep meaning to ask your dad to move the fridge freezer so i can get at them and just hadn't got round to it" .

i have been very tempted to get them myself but couldn't move the fridge freezer myself.

Anyway, just a few days ago i kept hearing a strange noise everytime i opend the fridge door, like the motor was going to go or thermostat, all i know was it didnt sound healthy, so told dad that i thought their fridge was on it's way out. he said "oh it makes alsorts of noises" i said that i knew that but thise was different.

next morning he agreed that there was something wrong with the fridge because it was about 15 degrees in there!!! LOL, and nothing was cold anymore.

so basically they have been looking at fridge/freezers to replace it and today dad pulled the fridge out so mum could get behind it to clean the floor ready for when they buy a new one. so mum pulled all the books out too, and came into me and said "look what i found!" Spirit messenger, Gordon Smith! LOL, mum has never read it!

I mean c'mon spirit you really didnt have to go to those costly lengths to get the Gordon Smith book out!!! LOL

Wouldn't it be funny if the fridge/freezer worked now with no problems........

Those books were definitely supposed to find their way out ay! Go spirit go!!!

yeah!!! although not so funny for dad who's having to pay out for a new one! saying that though, the fridge has been a lot colder since!

The books might have been blocking the air flow or something?...with a bit of help....

Aly i didnt have too, you wont be believe it but the fridge has started working properly again, perfect tempertaure after dad gave it a kick!! LOL so, hmmn what a funny way to get the books from behind the fridge eh LOL!!! mind you they have been there for over 3 years! i open my mouth me and i break summit!! LOL

i think you're right there ALy, because the fridge is still working fine! and im half way through the book! LOL

hmmn now its the upstairs toilet that's playing up!!! the flush on it, so dads onto that one now!!! cant think there's anything hiding behind the toilet that i want though!! so maybe that has just broken for no reason! LOL

We are back now. Well if im being honest it was a bit of a let down really. It was nice to be out and i love to watch mediums work. I dont know why, but from the youtube videos and stuff ive seen on telly of Gordon Smith, we didnt really didn't find him that good to be honest, it was quite boring really,no disrespect to the guy, he seems like a nice guy and im not disputing he's not a genuine medium either but we didnt find him as entertaining as some i've seen, i even had to give guilly a nudge towards the end as she was nodding off!! LOL

He claims in his info and from what people and his books says, he's known for giving exact addresses, names etc, he didnt give one address and got about two names correctly, he didnt know who he was going to half the night which alot of well known mediums usually know exactly who they are going to, but he couldnt hardly see the audience because the stage lights were in his face! lol... he did seem to do better in the second half, but he started that off with allowing people to ask questions about the spirit world. Oh and suprise suprise there's a medium that took off from the church me and guilly attended for years, he was in the audience and we just knew he would get a message cause he always does LOL. message hogger! LOL

anyway, i smiled when we arrived there as my seat number just happened to be the number 7 !! my favourite number

LOL guilly nods off to anything these days i think what it was half the time is because Gordon has a very strong Glaswegian accent so it was hard for us to tell what he was saying half of the time.

maybe we just went on a bad night because we were very suprised that the theatre wasn't full up, there were at least 30 empty seats behind us and its only a small theatre. Although saying that it might be to do with the fact that it was over priced and alot of people wouldn't pay double what it costs for seeing mediums less well known than that.

It’s worth keeping in mind that a lot of the stuff we read about these people is hyped up for commercial reasons. If you’re into this sort of thing, one on one is the way to go. I wouldn’t go myself. Not that I haven’t gone in the past but I meditate and that fulfils my spiritual needs.
