Family see Jesus image in Marmite

The family said they found the image comforting.

It may not be immediately obvious to everyone, but one family are convinced they can see the face of Jesus on the lid of a jar of Marmite.

Claire Allen, 36, said she was the first to notice the image on the underside of the lid as she was putting the yeast spread on her son's toast.

Her husband Gareth, 37, said he could not believe his eyes when he saw it.

Mr Allen, of Ystrad, Rhondda, said: "The kids are still eating it, but we kept the lid."

He explained: "Claire saw it first and called her dad to come and take a photo of it.

"When I first looked at it I wasn't sure, but when I moved it away from me it started coming out. I thought yeah, she's right - that's the image of Jesus.

People might think I'm nuts, but I like to think it's Jesus looking out for us
Claire Allen

Mrs Allen said her 14-year-old son Jamie had also remarked on the likeness.

She told the South Wales Echo: "Straight away Jamie said 'that looks like God', and my other boys (Robbie, four, and Tomas, 11) even said they could see a face.

"People might think I'm nuts, but I like to think it's Jesus looking out for us.

"We've had a tough couple of months; my mum's been really ill and it's comforting to think that if he is there, he's watching over us."

This is so cool. I seen it right away. At the same time there are no coincidence. This family was being put through the ringer and anything that gives them comfort and support is good for the family. Whether it is really the image of Jesus or not. To them that is what they see and see it as a sign which is good for them.
Also think it is pretty neat the name is Claire and also the same age. Maybe that is a little sign of support coming your way Claire from Jesus too??? (;
THE SHACK

Truly an inspiring story. Must read.

Unconditional Love is so important. Too important to keep it to yourself, so it is best to pass it on to someone else.

im always a bit cynical about these things myself. I mean, just say you get an sign from God, what is the first thing you do, get on your knees and pray, change your life style maybe, sing hallelujah Amen.... what you dont do is run to the nearest reporter. Why do these people do that i wonder, publicity, hopefully make a bit of money selling the story to the national news, if not, then why not take it to the local church for display. Naaaa, its a world full of crack pots... There was a story the other week, this builder who took a photo of his newly washed car and the reflection of the cloud formation above, said to reflect Michael Jackson...

Get a grip people....

for a minute there i thought that was our car!! :D LOL.......

Can see michael jackson clearly yeah!

I see alsorts in cloud formations, and even paint and stuff, remember the one on the out house door outside? it used to be that famous boy, weeing in a pot! LOL remember? anyway the paint fell off that and then some more paint came off somewhere else and there's an old man there now, and also two people looking at each other, well kind of screaming at each other lol, i think thats still there. hey wingman go and take a pic and take it to the newspapers LOL

i know what you're saying about publicity, ive seen many i could sell to the newspapers, but thats just it though, i just in my warped kind of mind see things as signs and thats comforting or even humourous for me, but thats fine, nothing wrong with that, what i wouldnt do is send it to the newspapers LOL

These thing happen by chance, its also the way the brain works, if it see's something that remotely looks like something else, it will fill in the bits in your head to make sense of it, like the boy peeing in a pot we had on our shed door.

I could see Jesus straight away.....and Micheal Jackson stands out too......it even looks like there are wings behind him....... :agree:

Yeh I certainly wouldn't go rushing out to the media if I saw Jesus in my Marmite.
I don't eat it anyway....

I guess people would do anything for a bit of publicity.

I see alot of shapes that look like things too, mainly in clouds.
I remember as a kid I used to love lying in the grass looking at the clouds go by seeing all sort of things out of them.

The fact that there is a darker shade around Micheal's face leads me to believe the face at least was edited.
The vid at Neverland is soooooo fake!!!!

Such a skeptic!!!! :smkbot:

Nothing wrong with being sceptical ALy, much better than being taken in by stuff and vulnerable. Believe it or not, I'm such a sceptic too LOL, you wouldn't think so with being a spirit medium, but i am LOL, always questioning things, and in my opinion, thats the best way to be and learn. :agree:

when i see things and signs, its mainly for my own entertainment purposes! LOL :ggle: :ggle: :P
