I am dreaming a lot at present but I can't recall any details except a vague feeling they are about Spirit and that they are trying to send a message regarding my gifts and how I am utilising them Is there anyway to bring the dreams to the fore so I can find out what is going on?

I know it's so frustrating isnt it when you cant remember but know that there are messages within your dreams.

Here's a little dream recall excercise that might help you http://www.spiritcha...9-dream-recall/

It may sound a bit strange but I used to ask for things to be made clearer while I sleep. Also taking note of as much detail as you can may help.

I know exactly what you mean there Bluerose, ive often caught myself asking things or changing things whilst im dreaming knowing full well that my conscious mind is asking the questions and my dreaming subconscious is taking orders! lol, ive found it very interesting with those kind of dreams.

The best thing is to jot down what ever you can remember. Then I think you will find, other small bits come back bit by bit.

Well I woke up today and I remembered some details:

In my dream I was giving a reading and when I woke up I was still in the reading. I went back to sleep and I feel the reading was still flowing. I can't recall who was having the reading or the content but I 'know' this is not the first time I have been giving a reading in my sleep. I've never heard of this, is this because I am concentrating on this area intensely just now or is there another reason?

Do you know who the reading was meant for? Interesting that you were giving readings in dreams.
That fascinates me.

I have no idea who it was for but now I have grasped this element of my dreams I just 'know' that I have been doing this in previous dreams. No idea what it means!

yes windermere its quite common, its not a message for you, its just because you have been doing readings for people and thats whats been on your mind alot and thinking about alot, you're not switched off and are still working in your sleep! you need to try and close down to get proper rest. I have found myself giving readings to different people, one of them a famous medium once although i forget who it was and we were in a coffee shop where i was giving the reading, i remember passing messages on from their loved ones in spirit, did quite a few that week within my dreams and it was around the time i was doing alot of readings for people in waking life etc.

you can actually recieve a reading in your sleep as well, ive had that before as well and sometimes i remember some of the message and sometimes i dont!! interesting all the same.

but i feel whats possibly happening with you is just that your subconcious is storing everything and because you havent properly closed down for your work, the it's seeping over into dream state.

I tried putting a cloak of protection on last night and closing down hoping this would give me a good nights sleep and no readings. Again my night was peppered by readings but I feel last night the reading was for me. Still no wiser about what was going on and I am shattered as I have not had a good night's sleep for a week! ANy other suggestions gratefully recieved!

I think like with me you are just having difficulty closing down, thinking that you have protected yourself when you haven't. You have to treat it like a ritual and make sure you close down properly from working with spirit or any psychic work which im sure you know this anyway, but are you cleansing first? grounding yourself before protecting yourself? try taking a cleansing shower,by physically going in the shower if it helps to visualise it properly and treat the water as cleansing pure whit light showering over you and through your entire being and watching any negativity etc draining down the plug hole. You can also try visualising golden roots from the top of your head down and out deep into the earth throough your feet, then protect yourself in the way that you normally do.

there's also another thing you can do with is quite good, maybe best lying on your back to do this one but visualise and even put your hands there on each of the seven chakras from the crown chakra at the top of your head to the base chakra below your solar plexus. i find that the solar plexus (yellow) in colour is the emotional, intuitive centre so this is where it needs quite a bit of work if you're open alot and working. see each of the chakras as the colour they relate to and see them as a flower gently opening and closing, what you are aiming to do is to close them up for the night into a bud but still spinning slowly.

just to add the brow chakra, third eye is important as well, thats a hard one to keep shut!

I got this tip about remembering a dream from a friend. And it’s this, when you wake avoid saying of the dream… “I can’t remember…” Make the decision beforehand to remember the dream and to write it down as soon as you wake. Provided you think it was a significant dream. Many dreams are just dreams.

As for shutting down and re-grounding. I wonder if this meditation technique would work for you. I have a little bell that I ring a few times before and after meditation. Worth a try maybe.

There are some cases where spirit require you to "work" whilst you are asleep. When you are asleep, your mind is less cluttered and tied into waking life business. These dreams could be an indicator of that happening. Why not make the intention to ask your guide to tell ou why you're "working" during your sleep?

As for recalling your dreams, you must express your intention to recall our dreams vividly each night before you go to sleep. Do this as strongly as you can. It can take a while to work. In combination with this, keep a notepad and a pen by your bedside and every time you wake up, IMMEDIATELY write down any details or symbols that you can remember even if it doesn't make sense. This will "lock in" the shadow memories more easily (takes a while to get good at it) which will then bring up the more vague details of the dream. You'll, in time, will be able to recall most or all of your dreams in startling detail. Record all of the dreams that you remember, even if they seem ordinary.

This is what I did for a few years. It took me some months to get to the point where I was getting high qualities dream memories, consistently most nights. Sometimes I used to recall three or four dreams in one night. It was pretty fascinating and taught me so much about myself and my waking life situations, and about my spirituality. I stopped for a while and my ability to recall dreams in deep detail faded. But now, if a dream means something and is related to my waking life situations or whatever, I tend to wake up immediately and then record the dream whilst the details are fresh in my mind. So I've kind of refined my technique. These dreams tend to be more vivid and the tend to feel more real to me whilst dreaming, so that's how I can tell which dreams are worth taking more notice of. Also, I discovered that I had the ability to connect with and communicate with anyone I wanted via dreams on demand, and I discovered that I could get answers to specific questions. I also at times had this uncanny ability to see into my own future via my dreams (some of the events I've seen has happened already). It's a powerful ability to have and I used it a hell of a lot in the early days. I even met a couple of my guides who were trying to help me repair a damaged relationship over a long period of time (several night a week at least) in some of my dreams where I was trying to find this particular person I fell out with (I had a deep connection to him) so that I could repair some of the damage. They were trying to help me find him because he had a habit of hiding and running away from me. So you see, there is a lot to be gained from developing and having a strong dream recall and knowing how to work with your intentions and the Universe/spirit.

Interesting that,Gemma. I had a simuliar dream about reparing a relationship a long time ago.
We fell out and still haven't spoken. But a short while ago I dreamed I was at this 'do', have a feeling it was an engagement party.and when this friend walked in unexpectedly,I knew it was our's.
I also had a reading a while back that this would happen at the end of the year.
So still waiting.......................

Joanie xx..

That is very interesting gemma, i agree with Joanie and thankyou for posting your experiences as i think it would be very helpful for people coming from somebody that has experienced and learnt to do dream recall. :angelhug:

watch this space then joanie, will be interesting to see the outcome to that, seeing as it came through in a reading as well as a dream. :agree:
